Studio chiefs are very powerful — in Hollywood. But they have bosses, too. To encourage company-wide and industry-wide policy reform, you need to reach the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the giant media companies that own the studios.
These media CEOs do not make their email addresses public. (Would you?) So to reach them, you need to write a letter. Taking the time to write will impress them much more than a blizzard of generic emails. They need to know how much you really care about the smoking in their youth-rated movies. And they need to know you are not going away.
